We started JK Paint & Contracting right here in Newberg with a simple goal: provide high-quality work with honesty and integrity. That mindset doesn’t stop with our paying customers. Whenever we’re able, we look for ways to use our time and skills to help our community, whether that’s volunteering, donating services, or supporting causes that matter to the people we work with every day.

Recent Highlight: ARK Pet Rescue Gets a Fresh Start

When ARK Pet Rescue needed a fresh coat of paint for their space in downtown Newberg, we were excited to lend a hand. This project was part of the Newberg Downtown Coalition’s Beautification Initiative, and it brought together local businesses, volunteers, and community leaders to improve a space that does so much good for animals and families in our area.

We donated $1,000 of labor, and our partners at Sherwin-Williams generously provided the paint. The transformation wasn’t just about color — it was about creating a cleaner, more welcoming space for the staff, the animals, and the folks who visit every day.

It’s a small way to say thanks to an organization that’s making a big difference.

  • Repainted a room at Newberg High School into a new Staff Lounge
    Three white walls and a blue accent wall to create a fresh space for teachers

  • Painted Newberg High School parking spaces black for Senior Space Painting Day

  • Sponsored the “Wine & Whiskers” Gala again and donated an auction basket

  • Provided free Thanksgiving turkeys to our entire crew

From school fundraisers to animal shelters and health foundations, we regularly donate themed auction baskets to help local organizations raise funds and bring their communities together.

Dumpster Day Spring Clean Events

We sponsor neighborhood Dumpster Days to make spring cleaning easier and more affordable. These events help keep our communities clean, clutter-free, and connected.
